I have been building models all my life, including model trains, military armor, and airplanes. This is the second sailing ship that I have built. The first one was the Lindberg Jolly Roger that I built as the La Flore. My current build is the Black Pearl For those who, like me, are interested in the Pirates of the Caribbean's Black Pearl pirate ship, I have found the plans. The ship in the first movie was actually a set built upon a barge, but the film company built a seaworthy Black Pearl around the Sunset in Alabama for the second and upcoming third movie.
